Product Label Stickers
A product label has more work to do than a logo sticker. It has to carry the product name, usually the net weight, often a best-before line, and sometimes a full ingredients panel — all at a size that still fits on the container.
That is mostly a layout problem, and it is worth getting right before you print a whole batch. Small text prints cleanly at sticker size when it is laid out with enough room around it. Crammed text does not, and you only find out once the sheet is cut.
Choosing the size
Measure the flat part of your container, not the widest part. A label has to sit on a flat area or it will lift at the corners, and on a curved jar the flat area is usually smaller than people expect. Take about 2mm off each side of that measurement and you have your size.
On our 1ft × 4ft sheet, a 2" × 3" label gives 60 pieces, which suits most jars and pouches. A 1" × 2" gives 160 and works for small bottles, sachets and price tags. A 3" × 3" gives 42 and is better for boxes and larger tubs.
More than one product
You do not need a separate order for each flavour or variant. Different names on the same layout print together on one sheet. Send us the list and we will divide the sheet between them.
What goes on it
Buyers look for the product name, what is in it, how much is in it, and who made it. A seller who prints those four things looks like a seller who has thought about their product — which is most of what a label is doing for you.
